The next meeting of the Parish Council will be held on 22 January 2009 at Plantation Hall, Colchester Road at 7.30p.m.  The meeting is open to the public, and the agenda can be viewed on the Minutes page of this Website nearer the date.  All other supporting reports can be made available on request from the Clerk.

A meeting of the Property Management Committee of the Parish Council will take place on 8 January 2009 in the Claydon Room at Plantation Hall at 7.30 pm.  This meeting is also open to the public.

The Parish Council currently has four vacant seats (although one seat is the subject of an election that is to be held).  Anyone interested in becoming a Parish Councillor should contact the Clerk, Stuart Jennings (see Contact Us page) for more information.

Heybridge Parish Council is a statutory local authority.

It resulted from the creation of the civil parish of Heybridge by order of the Secretary of State for the Environment in 1986.

Its twelve Parish Councillors serve for a period of four years between ordinary elections held at the same time as District Council elections.
